IT Gets Personal

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer even more value to you by making  documents, such as copies of your accounts and tax returns, available to you any time of the night or day (yes .... even at 2am in the morning!!) through docSAFE, an extremely secure on line system. 

As a client, you will have your own unique password so that you can enter your personal filing cabinet on line where you can upload documents you are sending to us and download documents we send to you -  much more secure than sending documents by e-mail attachment. 

It also means that if someone asks you for a copy of your accounts (bank managers spring to mind!) then you can retrieve a copy within seconds to e-mail to him/her from your on-line filing cabinet - a good way to impress!

We are intending to roll this service out to you over the next few months - however if you would like to start taking advantage of this service with immediate effect then please contact Jane Carmichael at jcarmichael@springfords.com

On the theme of data security, a hot topic in the press and one which we take very seriously, you will also be pleased to know that we constantly review our security measures and have recently taken additional measures including:

• use of encrypted memory sticks to back up/store client data when staff are working on site
• all our laptops are now set up with hard drive encryption to protect data in case of loss or theft
• adoption of a more stringent password policy on the main server
