Kids' Christmas Card Design Competition

Jimmy's Living The High Life

Inspired by the friendly corner store owner, Navid from BBC Scotland's Still Game, Springfords Employee Charity Committee set up a tuck shop over four years ago with the profits going into the charity funds. Originally chocolate bars and crisps were sold but Navid soon discovered he could offer better prices than the commercial drinks dispenser in the office whilst making money for the charity on every sale. Bear Necessities!

Touched by the recent publicity surrounding the plight of "The 3 Bears" held in Belgium who were in need of rescue, Springfords are this year sponsoring their new enclosure at the Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian. Historic Setting for Staff Outing

Springfords chose the picturesque setting of Winton House in Pencaitland, East Lothian for this year's staff outing. Bird and Hair Neck and Neck

Springfords staff and partners supported Sport Relief recently by giving up their lunch hour to run (or walk) a mile - many dressing up for the occasion. Fundraising Frenzy

Jingle Bells

Springfords Charity Committee held a very successful annual childrens Christmas Party in December for children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  In spite of the high winds Santa managed to land his sleigh to deliver gifts to the children and find out what they wanted for Christmas. The party is paid for by holding a Christmas raffle and caption competition amongst partners and staff so lots of fun is had by all.       (more)
