Inspired by the friendly corner store owner, Navid from BBC Scotland's Still Game, Springfords Employee Charity Committee set up a tuck shop over four years ago with the profits going into the charity funds.
Originally chocolate bars and crisps were sold but Navid soon discovered he could offer better prices than the commercial drinks dispenser in the office whilst making money for the charity on every sale.
The store is kept stocked up by Ian Tomlinson and over the years has turned over an annual profit of more than £200 - not a lot of effort for a good return!
It's not all good news however, with expanding waistlines and Christmas parties looming, Navid has been asked to offer some low fat options!
