Ever wondered what Springfords staff get up to in their spare time? Lynn Douglas from our Business Group recently discovered a talent for making cheesecakes, which were eagerly snapped up by family, friends and, of course, her colleagues. Encouraged by the response to her creations, Lynn has developed her own brand, Chuffin Cheesecakes, which she now sells to restaurants and caterers. The cakes come in four sizes and 25 different flavours from Chocolate & Honeycomb to Cookie & Cream with a gluten free option. Follow Lynn’s cheesecakes on Facebook here
As if this didn’t keep Lynn busy enough, she has also recently welcomed three new additions to her family Lucy, Daisy and Daphne pictured below. Sadly Lynn lost three ducks last year to “Mr Fox” and has had to up security for the girls to keep them safe – and she has recently been rewarded with her first batch of delicious duck eggs - it's just a pity Lynn doesn't need eggs for her Chuffin Cheesecakes recipes!
