Since their launch as sound and vision specialists over 30 years ago, VisionEvents have developed into a full event production agency; from creative design to project control and equipment hire.
Independently owned and Scotland born and bred, their Edinburgh HQ is the hub of activity and home to key departments, warehouses and members of staff. VisionEvents also have warehouses and offices in Glasgow and London and their centralised systems produce quality events across the UK and Europe.
Their three core departments are:
VisionProjects: event planning project solutions
VisionCreative: graphic design video production
VisionTechnology: advice, equipment hire logistics
These departments work seamlessly together to deliver creative, technical and logistical solutions for maximum impact.
At the helm is Managing Director, Chris Montgomery, who firmly believes that “by listening to your requirements, we will bring to life your key messages through creativity and design, ensuring excellent brand exposure. We want to make your event memorable for you and your guests”.
VisionEvents are constantly investing in the latest technology and in 2014 were delighted to add to their production equipment the very latest in LED event display technology, the iMPOSA Mage Series Display (VF06.4) which can be used for both indoor and outdoor events and delivers the most creative stage sets. One of the first outings for the new display was at last year’s Commonwealth Games. Glasgow’s Old Fruit Market was taken over for “Scotland House” which hosted over 90 events, most of which were backed by the new LED screen.
VisionEvents were also honoured to be involved in various events to mark the return of the Ryder Cup to Scotland last year. Bespoke lighting and animation stunned the audience at the SECC with a dramatic entrance by the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland, backed by the Scottish Opera Chorus – see video below:-
The VisionEvents team are increasingly being asked to undertake projects abroad – not only are they able to compete on cost with local suppliers, but can deliver events of the highest quality without the headache of language barriers.
Over their long history, VisionEvents have been involved with countless prestigious events from Chris Hoy’s retirement announcement at Murrayfield to Gala Dinners (like the Johnny Walker Gala Dinner pictured here) and Awards Ceremonies. However it's not only large events that are catered for, they also support day-to-day AV hires for events and meetings.
