A New Charity Connection For Springfords

We’re delighted to announce that one of our Partners, Patricia Reekie, has been appointed as a trustee of the fundraising arm of childhood epilepsy charity The Muir Maxwell Trust. Patricia joined the Board earlier this year, and has already made a contribution to strategy and financial reporting, and to the Trust's fundraising initiatives. Bear Necessities

For the past three years Springfords has been delighted to sponsor the bear sanctuary at The Five Sisters Zoo in West Lothian.  Our Employee Charity Fund has also recently made a donation towards the re-building of the reptile house which was destroyed by a devastating fire on 14 April 2013.  Thanks to the help of local tradesmen and public donations, the reptile house has now been fully re-built. Springfords staff Anne Turner, Lorraine Paul, Jane Carmichael, Hazel Mackay (four of our "admin girls") and Kerrie Jones (Private Tax Group), along with family and friends took to the road in May and entered two teams in this year's Edinburgh Hairy Haggis Relay Marathon (both teams pictured here celebrating at the end).  One team ran for The British Heart Foundation and one team for Maggie's Centre, raising over £1,500 between them. Carberry Gold

Santa's Little Helper

Santa was given a lot of help by volunteers from Falkirk Round Table, including Findlay Paul,  in the two weeks before Christmas, raising over £9,500 for local charities and those in need.
